In the Roblox tycoon experience My Anime Mine, developing an efficient mining crew depends heavily on character upgrades. Rolling powerful mutations on your anime units significantly increases their damage, allowing them to shatter tough ores and advance your research tree into new zones.
Understanding how My Anime Mine mutation luck functions—and how official gamepasses and temporary boosts amplify it—is crucial before investing your Robux or resources.
What Does Mutation Luck Do in My Anime Mine?
In My Anime Mine, mutation luck directly influences your probability of rolling rare mutations when upgrading your anime characters. Rather than settling for baseline stats, mutations grant substantial stat multipliers to your crew's base damage and mining output.
Because higher-tier zones require dramatically more damage to break through resilient ores, obtaining rare mutations allows your team to dig faster, generate higher income, and progress smoothly without hitting a wall.
Official Mutation Luck Gamepasses and Costs
Developer Curseddd Games offers two permanent account-bound passes on the official My Anime Mine Roblox store that directly enhance mutation odds:
| Gamepass Name | Robux Cost | Multiplier Effect | Official Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mutation Luck | 99 Robux | x1.5 Luck | Applies to every mutation roll; stacks with mutation luck potions |
| Major Mutation Luck | 799 Robux | x5 Luck | Applies to every mutation roll; stacks with mutation luck potions |
Both passes provide a permanent passive multiplier on every character mutation attempt. The standard Mutation Luck pass is an entry-level boost for budget-conscious players, while Major Mutation Luck provides a significant x5 multiplier suited for players actively min-maxing their end-game squads.
Stacking Mutation Luck with Potions
A key detail confirmed in the official Roblox gamepass descriptions is that mutation luck from store passes explicitly stacks with in-game mutation luck potions.
Third-party community sources and update logs report that consumable items—such as Mutation Luck Potions—provide temporary roll multipliers (such as a 2x boost lasting five minutes). Because pass multipliers and temporary potion effects run concurrently, activating a potion while owning either the Mutation Luck or Major Mutation Luck pass yields the highest possible roll rates when rolling for rare modifiers.
Third-party guides also note that promotional codes (such as the community-reported code MUTATIONLUCK) periodically reward temporary luck potions, though third-party code lists remain unverified by official channels until redeemed in-game.
Maximizing Your Mining Progression
Mutation luck works hand-in-hand with the game's broader economy and progression loops:
- Dig and Recruit: Break rocks to recruit anime characters to place in your base.
- Upgrade Multipliers: Equip new pickaxes, enchant gear, and roll for rare character mutations under active luck boosts.
- Fund Research: Sell mined ores to finance your zone's research tree, which unlocks higher earning tiers and entry into the next mining zone.
For players seeking complete progression setups, Curseddd Games also offers adjacent utilities in the store, including Super Drop Luck (1,199 Robux for x1.5 character and ore drops) and Speedy Characters (399 Robux for +10 permanent character walk speed).
Frequently Asked Questions
Do Mutation Luck gamepasses stack with potions?
Yes. Official store documentation specifies that both the 99 Robux Mutation Luck pass and the 799 Robux Major Mutation Luck pass stack directly with mutation luck potions.
Does Mutation Luck increase ore drop rates?
No. Mutation luck only impacts character mutation rolls. Ore and character discovery chances are influenced by separate mechanics, such as the Super Drop Luck gamepass.
Is the Mutation Luck boost permanent?
Purchasing the Mutation Luck (99 Robux) or Major Mutation Luck (799 Robux) gamepass grants a permanent upgrade linked to your Roblox account. Consumable potions, however, are temporary boosts that expire after their timer runs out.
